Hospice of Rockingham County, Inc. welcomes the
opportunity to speak to your church circles, men's or women's clubs, and civic groups. We are always trying to get the word out about our services so
that we can help those in need. If your group has openings on its
program calendar, we would be happy to fill one of those slots. We will be
happy to make our presentation wherever your group meets or your group is
welcome to meet in our Hospice Home community room for a presentation and
facility tour.
Whether your club meets early in the morning, at lunch time, or in the evening,
or you need a program ranging from 10 to
25 minutes, we can tailor a presentation on a variety of end-of-life topics,
examples of which
include: If your business, senior center, church, or civic group is organizing a health fair, HRC would be more than happy to provide an information booth for your event. Please call us so we may participate and support your efforts to inform the community as to available resources in and around Rockingham County. If your group wants a change of venue and would like to meet in our community room for a presentation and then take a tour of our Hospice Home, we would be more than happy to accommodate this. Simply call the HRC office to make arrangements. Hospice of Rockingham County, Inc. is proud to be able to offer our extensive library as a community resource for Rockingham County. We encourage patients, caregivers, family members and friends to utilize our materials. With titles ranging from The Healing Power of Humor to The New Age Handbook on Death and Dying to How it Feels when a Parent Dies, we have titles that may be of interest to patients, caregivers, volunteers, survivors, parents, and children.
