New Hospice Home Visitor Restrictions

Due to rapid increase of COVID-19 cases in our area, Hospice of Rockingham County has updated visitor access to our Hospice Home again to immediate family only, only 2 people in a patient’s room at a time,  and only during the following times:

  • 9:00am – 9:30am
  • 1:00pm – 1:30pm
  • 6:00pm – 6:30pm

Immediate family members who want to visit will be met at the front door to be screened for symptoms, including having their temperature taken. Visitors will then be given a mask they must wear for the duration of their 30-minute visit.

Leadership agonized over increased restrictions and we regret this step has become necessary. With the rise in cases in the area, we must do everything possible to keep everyone safe. The well-being of our patients and their families and our staff and their families is our highest priority.

We ask for your continued understanding in this ever-changing situation.
